Psalm 96

Grant, O Lord, we pray thee, that the offerings, which on this day's festival we present unto thee, may be acceptable in thy sight: that by thy bounteous goodness vouchsafed unto us in this holy Communion, we may be found in the likeness of him in whom our substance is united unto thee: And who liveth and reigneth  with thee.

With an holy worship: the dew of thy Birth is of the womb of the morning. 

POSTCOMMUNION 

Grant, we beseech thee, O Lord our god, that we who in a mystery have drawn near with gladness unto the Birth of Jesus Christ our Lord: may so walk in
godliness of life, that we may be found worthy to attain unto his fellowship in heaven.  Who liveth and reigneth with thee. 

§ Before the three Christmas Masses is said Psalm 43 with its Antiphon, the Confession, etc., and at the end of each the Blessing is given, and the Last Gospel is read from St. John In the
beginning, except at the Third Mass when is read the Epiphany Gospel. When Jesus was born. 

§ From today until the Vigil of Epiphany, if there be said a Solemn Votive of our Lord for which there is no proper Mass, or if a Solemn Votive be said of the Nativity, it shall be the Mass

O Lord, who by thy wondrous Birth hast put off from us the old nature of our manhood: grant, we beseech thee; that by this new Sacrament of thy Nativity we may ever be inwardly renewed in our souls.  Who liveth and reigneth with thee.

At the end of this Mass is said the Gospel from the Feast of the Epiphany.
